PUPILS at Penketh South Primary School have raised thousands of pounds for St Rocco's Hospice.
The youngsters took part in a charity Elf Run to fundraise the money before Christmas and invited Katie Lawson, community fundraiser from St Rocco’s to school last week.
An incredible £2238.70 was raised in total.
Deputy head teacher, Lorraine Browne, said: “I’m so proud of our school and school council for their commitment in supporting the St Rocco’s charity through the Elf Run.
"We are amazed by the generosity of our parents and families in giving to this wonderful cause.”
