Headway Swindon is launching a Pancake Party fundraising campaign.
The aim is to bring in valuable funding for its rehabilitation centre in Dorcan which helps the recovery of those affected by a brain injury or stroke.
The charity will be hosting it’s own Pancake Party on Shrove Tuesday, February 25, at the Headway Swindon Centre, which will feature pancake-themed activities for it’s clients.
But it is also asking for businesses ion the town to host their own Pancake Parties to raise funds for the cause.
Laurel Simpson, organiser for Headway, said: “Many of our members suffer from social anxiety, difficulties processing information and numerous other hidden effects of brain injury, and this event will really bring people out of their shells.”
Formed in 1991, the organisation helps people regain life skills and learn new ones.
If you’re a business and want to get involved to host your own Pancake Party then you can contact Laurel on laurel@headwayswindon.org.uk
