Big names are coming to the Fairford Festival of Fiction in June.

The guest of honour will be Russell T Davies – a multi-award-winning television writer, creator of Queer as Folk and the show-runner who brought back Doctor Who in 2005.

Also in the celebrated line-up will be Prof Kate Williams, a familiar face on British television, a presenter on Royalty, a historian, author and broadcaster famous for Rival Queens and Versailles.

In addition, there will be John Connolly, bestselling author of the Charlie Parker thrillers and he will be talking about his novel, A Bag of Bones, which is set in St Mary’s Church, Fairford.

Rachael Stott is the fourth name to be announced. She is a comics artist currently drawing Supergirl and her previous work includes Doctor Who, Star Trek and Planet of the Apes.

One more exciting and famous guest – a children’s author – is still to be announced.

All the guests will be signing their work at the all-day event on Saturday, June 6, which is sponsored by DCO Systems.
