POET Pam Ayres is sharing some of her work in a bid to help raise money for charity.
Great Western Hospital’s charity Brighter Futures will be getting all the proceeds from the event.
Pam, who lives near Cirencester, will take to the stage at the Wyvern Theatre on National Poetry Day as a one-off concert.
She will be talking about her latest book Up In The Attic and reading out some of her poems.
Pam has been in the industry for over 40 years.
She is known for her witty poetry that is inspired by everyday life.
Cat Newman, associate director of fundraising, said: “We are thrilled and honoured that Pam Ayres has chosen to support Brighter Futures through this particular performance.”
It will be on October 1 at 7.30pm.
