AN IBIZA-THEMED party at Bowood House will feature a former Ministry of Sound DJ.

Jose Luis will perform a new hour-long chill-out DJ set to kick off Classic Ibiza on July 25 from 7pm.

He said: “I’m going old-school house meets Latin. The Balearic sound is very rooted in the Latin-esque sounds of DJ Alfredo.

“House is a feeling, a vibe and I hope to be able to recreate the vibe that you get when you party in Ibiza.

“I’m doing the opening set, so I want to create the right atmosphere for the orchestra to come on and kill it.”

Following Jose’s set, the Urban Soul Orchestra and vocalists will then take to the stage with Goldierocks for the 'sundowner' set before she goes solo to play a house music DJ set.

The concert then reaches a crescendo, when the orchestra and vocalists return to the stage and the grounds of Bowood House turn into an alfresco nightclub with lasers and lights.

Lisa Ward is director of Revival Productions, which organises the event.

She said: “We are delighted to welcome Jose Luis to the Classic Ibiza family, his credentials speak for themselves and he will help us take the show to yet another level.”
