THERE was disappointment for two Wiltshire performers in the latest episode of The Greatest Dancer.
Swindon's Rebecca Mancini and Joe Picter from Chippenham are both members of Dark Angels, who were eliminated from the BBC One show on Saturday night.
The Bristol-based group made it into the live episodes after being picked by judge Oti Mabuse.
But after competing in six episodes the group had to say goodbye when hosts Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo revealed the group – along with Ross and Travis – would be leaving.
Reflecting on their exit, the Dark Angels said: “We’d be lying if we said we weren’t gutted. But we have honestly just lived the dream these last few months, getting to experience this.
“We just want to shout out massively to our coach Charlie Bedford, Oti and also James Bennett as well.”
Rebecca, 30, was brought up in Shrivenham and has loved dancing since she was a child.
