M4: An Audi driver was clocked doing 115mph down the M4.

Sparcells man Emmanuel Pallot, 50, of Ryan Close, was found guilty of speeding between junctions 18 and 17 of the motorway on May 14 last year. He was behind the wheel of his 2019-plate Audi Q5.

Magistrates fined him £1,163 and banned him from driving for six months, citing repeat offending as the reason for the disqualification.

He was ordered to pay a £116 victim surcharge and £650 costs.

SWINDON: A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because he is under 18, admitted assaulting a police officer on September 14.

He was given a nine-month community order and ordered to complete 15 hours of community service. His parents must pay a £21 victim surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Peter Cotter, 73, of High Street, admitted intentionally touching a girl under the age of 13 on May 25 last year. The touching was sexual.

He was granted unconditional bail to return to Swindon Crown Court on February 21 for sentence.

Cotter was ordered to sign onto the sex offenders’ register.

SWINDON: Frank Mwelli, 56, of Boldrewood, admitted stealing £3,370 from a man over a period of more than two years. He was bailed to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on February 21.

LIDEN: Lee Pattenden, 38, of Galsworthy Close, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis, possession of cannabis and crystal meth.

He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on February 21 for sentence.

TOWN CENTRE: Aaron Steel, 23, of Euclid Street, admitted possession of crack cocaine and cannabis. He was fined £353 and ordered to pay £120 in costs and surcharges.

The drugs were forfeit.

LIDEN: Eric Cockram, 70, of Barn Moor Close, was fined £80 and banned from the roads for a year after he admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.

Magistrates told him to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Scott Druett 46, of Shakespeare Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving.

He was behind the wheel of a Citroen Berlingo van on November 21 in the Wyvern Theatre car park when he was found to have 106 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Druett was fined £692, given 10 points on his licence and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £69 victim surcharge.

COVINGHAM: Isidoro Fernandes, 56, of Otter Row, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.

He was fined £80, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

STRATTON ST MARGARET: Chantelle Hayward, 28, of Stratton Road, was jailed for four months after she pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting police officers, failing to provide a specimen of breath, driving a Boxer van without a licence or insurance.

She was banned from the roads for 18 months and must pay a £122 victim surcharge.

BROOME MANOR: Alex Mastrodomenico, 23, of Carlton Gate, was left with a court bill of more than £850 after he admitted assault, criminal damage and harassment.

He pleaded guilty to assaulting a man on November 22, damaging his Boss glasses and using disorderly language or behaviour thereby causing another harassment or distress.

Magistrates found the latter charge was motivated by Mastrodomenico’s hostility towards those of a particular sexual orientation.

He was fined £491 and must pay £250 compensation for damaging the designer eyewear.

Magistrates ordered Mastrodomenico pay £85 costs.

WALCOT: A shoplifter who took a kitchen knife to the supermarket was warned to stay out of trouble.

Kelly Newman, 41, of Queens Drive, admitted stealing two bottles of wine from Sainsbury’s and possession of a blade in the same Brunel Centre store.

Magistrates deferred sentence until April 15 on condition she stay out of trouble and work with the Nelson Trust.
