ONE of the two HMP Bullingdon prisoners being tested for coronavirus has been named as Mark John Rumble.
The 31-year-old was arrested in Thailand last November. He was wanted by the UK authorities on drugs charges.
The Thai Department of Corrections Rumble was flown back to the UK a fortnight ago, according to reports.
Two prisoners were yesterday being tested for the virus. Access to and from one of the six wings at HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester, was being restricted.
The prison is home to more than 1,000 inmates. They include men serving sentences and those held on remand while they await trial. The facility is where the majority of the men given jail sentences by the Swindon courts are sent in the first instance.
