POLICE stopped a car for "aggressively" overtaking during rush-hour.
PC Chris Lockwood and PC Chris Cahill were out on patrol tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) driving, during the morning commute.
The officers stopped a vehicle which tried to "aggressively" overtake a member of the public, who was driving at the speed limit.
It was then discovered that the driver, who was stopped, had committed other offences.
They had no MOT, so was fined £100.
Officers also conducted a stop-search under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1971.
Cannabis was found and an out-of-court disposal was issued.
The driver was also handed a section 59 warning with regards to driving in an inconsiderate manner.
A police spokesperson said: "Running late to work? No need to 'aggressively' overtake a member of the public driving at limit.
"And even later for work. Was it worth it?"
