A THUG currently serving time for a vicious attack on a darts player has admitted hitting a woman so hard he perforated her eardrum.
Appearing before Swindon Crown Court via a video link from HMP Parc, Tee-Jay O’Hanlon pleaded guilty to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 24-year-old, formerly of no fixed address, was said to have struck the woman leaving her with the injury to her ear.
Colin Meeke appeared for the Crown and Emma Handslip for the defence.
Adjourning the case to March 3, Judge Peter Crabtree said: “I need to think very carefully about what is called totality - and I am sure Miss Handslip has explained that to you - so the sentence is fair in all the circumstances.”
In December O’Hanlon was jailed for more than eight years after he admitted a brutal attack on a man on Victoria Road in Old Town. Together with friend Kyle Coupe he had tailed the victim from The Regent pub, where he had been playing darts, to the bus stop near the Post Office.
