NO FURTHER arrests have been made following a 'shocking and disturbing attack' on a 14-year-old boy.

The teenager had parts of his hair shaved off and his bag stolen in at attack by a group of six others in Kentwood Hill, Tilehurst on Wednesday, February 12.
Police originally reported that the 14-year-old victim did not need to go to hospital, but have since updated details to confirm that the teenager was taken in with injuries.
A 15-year-old boy from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation.

Reacting to the news, readers have expressed their shock at the attack.
One said: "Shocking and disturbing, I'm lost for words!"
Another added: "This made me feel physically sick.
"Hope the boy is recovering." Commenting on the Facebook post, another resident said: "What the hell is wrong with people! Hope the lad is ok."
