A NATURE group is hosting a sparrow next box building workshop.
Penhill Naturehood is inviting people to a DIY session at the John Moulton Hall in Penhill.
Between 12.30pm-2pm tomorrow attendees will be able to build their own terrace of house sparrow bird boxes to help encourage wildlife-friendly gardens around Swindon.
Tools and materials will be provided, and the Naturehood team will be on hand to guide people through the process.
Children taking part should be over seven years old and supervised at all times.
Naturehood is a partnership between the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Earthwatch Europe, funded by the National Lottery. The project aims to establish ‘naturehoods’ throughout neighbourhoods to create a network of habitats and encourage wildlife.
Spaces for the sessions are limited and anyone interested should register through Eventbrite.
