THE world’s greatest explorer has crossed the Arctic Ocean and climbed Mount Everest.
Now Sir Ranulph Fiennes is touring the UK to tell the tales of his adventures.
And he will be landing at the Wyvern Theatre on March 3 as part of his Living Dangerously tour.
He has risked life and limb in taking on some of the most ambitious expeditions ever taken.
Sir Ranulph said: “I’ve been privileged to see so many parts of our planet, and I’m looking forward to sharing stories I’ve amassed in that time with audiences in the UK, the US and Canada very soon.”
He was the first person to have reached both Poles, the first to cross the Antarctic and Arctic Ocean.
And he was the first to circumnavigate the world along its polar axis.
Along with being a record-breaking explorer, Sir Ranulph is also a a writer and poet.
As part of his tour he will be taking people on a journey of his childhood, his army life, his Transglobe Expedition and his current Global Reach Challenge. He wants to be the first person to cross both polar ice caps and climb the highest mountain on each seven continents.
