The ELO Experience is bringing the legacy of Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra back to life in Swindon next week.

Jeff Lynne co-founded ELO in Birmingham in 1970 and they went on to release over 30 albums.

And between 1972 and 1986 the band more combined UK and US Top 40 hits than any other band on the planet, with Evil Woman, Overture, Living Thing and Mr Blue Sky among them.

In 2016, ELO released a new album Alone In The Universe and headed off on a UK and world tour.

The ELO Experience tour celebrates their 45 years as a band. It will feature a large projection screen to enhance the experience.

This show, which has been running for 13 years, is expected to be a blast from the past for fans.

Andy Louis is on lead vocals, Pete Smith is on bass, Chris Marsh plays the keyboard and on drums is Tony Lawson.

Reviewing the show, Derek Smith of The Stage wrote: "This band shows great style and professionalism.

"A tribute that’s jam-packed with musical talent, the lead singer is a dead-ringer for Lynne and his musical entourage provides an ELO tour de force."

Tickets to catch the experience in Swindon are selling out fast.

It will visit the Wyvern Theatre on February 21, starting at 7.30pm.
