A BOY charged after police called to a Swindon car park found a foot-long knife has appeared before the magistrates.
The 17-year-old from Swindon, who cannot be named as he is under 18, spoke only to confirm his personal details.
No pleas could be taken to a charge of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place namely John Street car park and Westmorland Road.
He was bailed for the next sitting of Swindon Youth Court on March 3. He must abide by a night time curfew.
