MOTORWAY police fined a lorry driver - after finding him reading a book as he drove his HGV down the M4.
After stopping the driver at 10am at Membury services, Wiltshire Police's roads policing unit posted on Twitter: "HGV driver stopped for reading a book whilst driving. Both hands on the book, not holding the steering wheel."
He was fined and given points on his licence.
Rule 160 of the Highway Code states motorists should drive with both hands on the steering wheel as "this will help you remain in control of the vehicle at all times".
