A CHINESE restaurant is keeping its door closed after all of its Mother's Day bookings were cancelled.
Oriental Aroma in Royal Wootton Bassett had shut the restaurant at the beginning of March after business slowed down caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
It was set to reopen yesterday but after all its tables for Mother's Day were cancelled the owner has decided to keep its doors shut until further notice.
James Huyhn is the owner of the business, he said: "Following the Prime Minister’s speech on Monday advising people to stay away from pubs, clubs, restaurants and theatres, we can confirm the final table booking of five people has just messaged us to cancel so we will stay closed.
"We had a total of 117 people booked in for Mother’s Day up until Monday lunchtime, we are devastated. We can not find words to express our concerns."
