A ROYAL Wootton Bassett pub is putting on takeaway carveries in a bid to salvage iMother’s Day celebrations in the area.
As the coronavirus pandemic shuts pubs and restaurants across the country, Sally Pussey’s Inn is letting its customers take their carvery home for the first time.
Director Rob Goves said: “Mother’s Day is a special day for so many and a lot spend the day here at Sally’s so now you can come and pick up a takeaway version of our famous roast carvery. You will have the choice of beef, gammon and of course turkey with loads of your favourite accompaniments and vegetables.”
The pub, close to the M4, is also offering a call and collect service on the whole menu for its customers so they can ring up, place and order and collect from the front desk.
