Nearly 40 streets were missed by council refuse collectors on their garden waste round on Friday.
But Swindon Borough Council says crews went out on Monday to finish the rounds.
The reason given for the missed collections was simply a lack of resources.
The streets missed on Friday were Deburgh Street, Drew Street, Redcliffe Street, Read Street, Joseph Street, Albion Street, Cambria Place, Shelley Street, Fairview, Deacon Street, Newhall Street, Edmund Street, Swindon Road, Western Street, Dover Street, Prospect Hill, Lansdown Road, Pembroke Street, Hythe Road, Folkestone Road, Maidstone Road, Ashford Road, Savernake Street, North Street, South Street, Union Street, Cannon Street, St John Street, Belle Vue Road, Dammas Lane, The Planks, The Weavers, Cricklade Street, Cambridge Street, Tydeman Street, Edinburgh Street, Buller Street, Argyle Street, Caulfield Road and Brunswick Street.
