A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with assaulting her care workers.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named as she is under 18, entered no pleas to a single charge of battery and criminal damage.
It is said the girl, who is from Swindon, assaulted her male care worker and smashed a plate.
Last week, she appeared before the justices charged with a number of other assaults on her carers.
All the cases were adjourned to the next sitting of Swindon Youth Court on Tuesday, March 31.
She was remanded in secure accommodation after defence solicitor Gordon Hotson told magistrates his young client did not feel safe it the children’s home in which she was currently placed by Swindon Borough Council’s social services department.
Chairman of the bench Gail Chilcott made a reporting restriction banning anyone from identifying the youngster - including on social media.
