SWINDON: Samuel Dibble, 19, of Stevenson Road, pleaded not guilty to drug driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Havisham Drive last August.

He was bailed for the trial on August 3, a week shy of the date of the alleged cannabis driving incident.

REDHOUSE: Benjamin Emmerson, 26, of Dyson Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Mazda through Minety.

He was stopped by police on the B4040. A breathalyser test found he had 67 mcg of alcohol in 100ml. He was fined £400, banned from driving for a year and a half, and told to pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

KINGSHILL: Daniel Gallagher, of Grosvenor Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He had been driving a Vauxhall Combo on Grosvenor Street having drunk so much that a breathalyser test found 92 mcg in 100ml of breath.

He was fined £738, banned from the roads for 23 months and ordered to pay £170 in costs and surcharge.

FRESHBROOK: Harry King, 18, of Roundway Down, admitted possession of a knife in a public place. He was bailed for a sentencing hearing on April 22.

STRATTON: Kamau Njoroge, 34, of Stratton Road, admitted being drunk behind the wheel of a Mercedes Sprinter van, taking the vehicle without consent, driving without a licence or insurance and obstructing a constable in the execution of her duty.

He was ordered to do 180 hours of community service and banned from driving for 22 months.

BADBURY PARK: Jonathan Scurfield, 27, of Bolehyde Close, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was behind the wheel of a 2019-plate car on Homlington Avenue on January 22 when breath tests showed he had 54 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was fined £184, banned from driving for 15 months and must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Matthew Wheeler, 25, of Meriden Walk, admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis on January 22.

He was bailed to appear before the magistrates’ court on April 17. A pre-sentence report was ordered.

WILTSHIRE: Julian Mortimer, 60, of Newtown, Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order by emailing a 15-year-old boy and pursuing a friendship with him.

He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on April 2 for sentence.

SWINDON: Katie Donnelly, 37, of no fixed address, entered no pleas to charges she supplied crack cocaine to an undercover police officer on two occasions in January.

She was granted unconditional bail to appear before the crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on April 17.

SWINDON: Anthony Walsh, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs. He entered no pleas and was remanded in custody to appear before a Swindon Crown Court judge on April 17.

TOWN CENTRE: Joanna Hutchinson, 50, of Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, pleaded not guilty to assaulting to men at Swindon railway station in June 2018.

She was bailed for the trial at the magistrates’ court on July 23.

WALCOT: Leon Chambers, 32, of Bilborough Drive, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood when asked to do so by a police officer last November. He had admitted driving a Vauxhall Vivaro van without insurance.

He was fined £300 and banned from driving for a year. Chambers must pay £400 in costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

PENHILL: Scott Bastow, 43, of Lyneham Close, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage. He had damaged a Samsung mobile phone belonging to a woman.

He was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £106 in costs and surcharge.

WROUGHTON: Mark Painter, 46, of Willow Walk, denies stealing a woman’s mobile phone and twice assaulting her.

He was bailed for the trial at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on July 9.

WALCOT: Zoe Stephenson, 18, of Shrewsbury Road, admitted threatening to “spin” a woman’s jaw. She pleaded guilty to an offence under the Malicious Communications Act and was ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work,20 rehabilitation days and pay a £90 victim surcharge.
