A LIVE set was put on by local DJs in Penhill to thank NHS workers and carers for their efforts during the coronavirus outbreak.

Robert Pullen spotted Chelsea and Jon Walter playing across the street from his flat at Penhill Drive.

They put on the show during the Thursday's Clap For Carers.

Robert said: "They're a local group and they haven't been able to play since all the pubs closed for lockdown. They wanted to do something positive for other people and that's why they got involved with the Clap For Carers.

"I think it's nice they've joined in, they've used their connection to the area, they know the community quite well so I think it's nice they've done that.

"It's so important to show appreciation to the NHS, it's nice to see people are showing appreciation and joining in."
