This crash on the A40 is why you need to only travel if the journey is essential, Gloucestershire Constabulary say.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the serious collision yesterday evening.
No one was injured.
A spokesman for the force said: "A good day in the North Cotswolds was spoilt by a collision on the A40.
"This is why you need to only travel if the journey is essential. Thankfully no one was injured amazingly.
"This took up valuable NHS, St John's Ambulance and police resources #stayhomesavelives."
