A coronavirus testing site will be set up at the County Ground car park this week.
The centre will conduct 300 tests a day for NHS and social care staff, front line workers like police officers and firefighters, and those aged over 65 with coronavirus symptoms.
Tests will have to be booked online through the government’s website. Initially, the centre will be open from Thursday to Sunday and is being managed by the Ministry of Defence on behalf of the Department of Health.
Swindon Borough Council has provided the County Ground car park.
