NO NEW Covid-19 deaths were recorded at Salisbury District Hospital yesterday, the latest NHS England figures have revealed.

This was also confirmed by Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, meaning the total number of those who died after contracting the virus remains 50.

In hospitals across England a further 207 people passed away after testing positive for the disease, with 10 of these cases in the South West, bringing the death toll in English hospitals to 24,159.

Patients were aged between 33 and 100 years old. 6 of the 207 patients (aged between 35 and 95 years old) had no known underlying health conditions.

22 deaths were reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
