SWINDON-BORN environmentalist and senior advisor to the Pope Martin Palmer will be delivering an online lecture this evening.

The lecture will explore the environmental, community and theological challenges which the pandemic is raising across the world, and stress the importance of a practical response to an anxious and ever-changing environment.

Martin grew up in Swindon in the late 1960s where his father Derek was vicar of Christ Church and one of the founders of the Old Town Ecumenical Parish.

He is now the CEO of FaithInvest: The International Network on Conservation and Religion which is an information and development hub working on supporting faith and conservation – including CelebrationEarth.

'Not back to Normal: Planning for a better future' will be broadcast from 7.30pm to 9pm at christchurchswindon.co.uk/blog
