A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an alleged thief.
Michael Wallace, 35, of Potley Lane, Corsham, has been charged with three counts of theft and a fourth charge of fraud by false representation.
It is alleged he stole a total of £600 cash from the same man and used his bank card to buy £35.13-worth of goods.
The thefts are said to have taken place in Melksham, Stanton St Quintin and Swindon in May 2016.
Wallace’s case was listed for mention at Swindon Crown Court on Thursday afternoon. When he failed to turn up Judge Jason Taylor QC issued a warrant for his arrest not backed for bail, meaning he must be put before the courts if police arrest him.
