A Black Lives Matter protest that was set to kick of tomorrow afternoon has been pushed back to next month.

This is the second protest to take place in Swindon in response to police brutality and racism.

Organisers are urging people to bring masks and hand sanitiser when it kicks off in July

A spokesperson for the event said: “We hope to see as many people at this protest if not more than the last, if there are people you know who are silent or do need educating family or friends bring them along. It’s not enough to be non-racist it’s time to be anti-racist, it’s time for change and racism must end in our society.”

A date and time is to be confirmed.
