Members of Little Signers Club; North Wiltshire + Swindon have been raising money for Swindon Children’s Scrapstore throughout lockdown.
Hosting a series of online fundraising events, the sign language club for babies and toddlers has been running a campaign called Sign for Good, aiming to raise £250 for the charity as well as help people feel connected and bring some familiarity and routine to parents and children.
Swindon Children’s Scrapstore provides food parcels to those in need as well as educational activity packs for children without computers so they can continue their education during the lockdown.
Ioanna, who runs the group said: “Supporting a worthwhile cause like Swindon Children’s Scrapstore has given everyone a special focus and real motivation to stay connected. For many members, being able to make even a small donation has been a great way to feel like they are a part of something – a movement for good."
