Chedworth news by David Broad
CHEDWORTH Horticultural Society have decided to cancel The Chedworth Horticultural Show that was due to take place on August 22.
As there will be no show to commemorate their 140th Anniversary they will be inviting everyone to contribute photographs by email of one or both - a floral arrangement to celebrate 140 years - a basket of vegetables and fruits.
There will not be any prizes for entries but they will be publishing the photos.
THE Village Hall is steadily re opening, pre-school returned at the beginning of June and with the easement of Virus restrictions from July 6, it may be possible to resume a few limited activities during August.
THE Parish Council has been notified of an application to determine if in principle up to three houses would be permitted on land next to the village hall children’s play area and HVLTCs Tennis Courts opposite Valley View.
You can view the application at bit.ly/3f46TLZ.
The consultation closes on July 15.
