A CYCLIST has been left with a ‘serious’ head injury after a major crash in Watlington.
An air ambulance, four ambulances and police cars raced to Howe Road, at the junction with The Ridgeway, at around 2.35pm yesterday.
A blue Mazda had crashed with a cyclist, a man in his fifties.
He needed urgent care and was taken to the hospital – where he is still being treated.

A Thames Valley Air Ambulance spokesperson said the team had dispatched a Critical Care Response Car and helicopter to the scene.
Now police are hoping any drivers captured something vital on dash-cam footage.
Investigating officer, PC David Burleigh, from the joint operations policing unit, said: “I am appealing for anybody who witnessed this collision, or to anyone who has any information about what happened to please come forward.”
Anybody with information should call police on 101, quoting the reference 43200211156.
