A DRIVE-IN concert is coming to the Swindon area this month.

The socially-distanced gig at Purton House on July 26 will feature Brighton-based band Will and the People and a DJ set by BBC Sound of 2020 runners-up Easy Life.

The venue in Church End has a capacity of 40 cars.

Four-piece Will and the People will be performing their new single Shame on the night.

Will Rendle said: “It’s about the chaos of the world being beautiful, it’s power to the people – but the selfish gene seems to always be in charge.”

Signed to the Various Artists Management label which works with The Libertines, Supergrass, and Tom Grennan, the band have released three albums. Their self-titled debut was a chart hit in the Netherlands.

The concert will be kicking off at 2.30pm .
