A TODDLER was freed by firefighters after getting locked in a car.
A spokesman for Sherborne Fire Station said: "One appliance from Sherborne was mobilised to a two-year-old locked in their parents' car.
"Crews used specialist equipment to unlock the car with out causing any damage.
It was one of three calls on a busy day for the station.
Earlier in the day they were mobilised to a small fire in the open along the A30 going out of Henstridge.
Crews located the small fire and used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
Later on a crew was mobilised to another fire in the open along the A30 at Toomer Hill. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and damp down the surrounding area.
