MOST letters to the Echo complain about the local council; but I would like to compliment them about parking meters!
Now that we are permitted to drive out in the countryside I find that different localities have different requirements to pay for parking.
Lyme Regis NCP car park requires you to input your car registration number; you are then required to separately input the hours you require and your debit card details; but nothing tells you this. I had to rely on a local to explain what to do, with other visitors listening carefully!
In Weymouth you can only pay by mobile telephone; well I am of mature age and do not have a mobile phone. I had to pay someone else to collect a ticket for me with me paying him the cost.
BCP you merely pay by debit card – choose the time required, input your debit card details and away you go! Well done PCP.
