BROWNSEA Island has once again open to pre-booked visitors.

All countryside areas are open with sheltered woodland, sweeping shorelines and dramatic clifftops to explore. Tickets to the island must be booked in conjunction with a ferry ticket and by 3pm the day before you intend visiting.

The island is open every day from 10am-5.30pm with access via foot ferry from Poole Quay only (Sandbanks Jetty service is suspended). Each visit is 3.5 hours including the ferry ride.

Tickets include ferry and admission. National Trust members will only be asked to pay the ferry fare.

The Villano Café and Engine Gift shop are both currently closed.
