TWO men have been arrested after car wash workers were attacked with metal poles at a Swindon petrol station.
The incident happened at around 8.20am this morning at the Texaco garage on Queens Drive.
Officers were called to a report that two men had arrived in a van and attempted to assault the workers.
They arrested the two suspects aged 23 and 27-year-old on suspicion of affray. They are currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
Sgt Joe Senior said: "Our officers reacted quickly to the call and managed to apprehend two suspects.
"I appreciate this location is on a busy main road and in a residential area and members of the public may have seen what happened.
"I want to reassure people that we believe both parties were known to each other and no-one was hurt during the incident."
