A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of having counterfeit goods after police were called to Woodhall Park this evening.
The man, 41, is suspected of being linked to an organised crime gang.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of counterfeit goods and money laundering and taken to Gablecross police station.
Wiltshire Police said officers were called to Basil Close at 7.20pm tonight. A man was arrested near a Mercedes E220, the force said.
He is understood to have been in possession of a large number of cigarettes.
- Update: Wiltshire Police has since said the man was arrested on suspicion of having counterfeit currency, not goods. He is yet to be charged.
