Swindon’s Buzz Bingo centre at the Greenbridge Retail Park will be reopening today, Thursday, August 6.

The site is one of the first to reopen for the company across the UK.

New measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of staff and players including a new capacity, floor markings and seats being taken out of use.

Peter Brigden, chief retail officer at Buzz Bingo, said: “It has been a long few months without seeing our lovely customers and we cannot wait to reopen our club doors on 6th August.

“The club is at the heart of the community and offers an open and friendly space for members to be amongst friends while they enjoy a game of bingo or play slots.

“We want to reassure customers that their health and safety is our number one priority.

"We’ve spent the last few months eagerly preparing for their return and putting all the necessary measures in place to keep them safe."

Along with reopening, the centre will also be participating in the government’s Eat out to Help Out scheme meaning players can get 50 per cent off all food and non-alcoholic drink, up to a maximum of £10.
