Businesses in Old Town are following all coronavirus guidelines, according to the Business Association.
Kris Talikowski, vice-chairman of association and manager at The Core, believes traders in the area are doing everything possible to prevent an outbreak.
He said: "From what I've seen, across the area, businesses and restaurants are complying heavily with the guidelines and the public are as well.
"There's lots of support for local businesses and the last few days, with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, have been great.
"Restaurants have done well to make the changes they need to and it all looks like the scheme is working.
But My Talikowski does recognise some businesses do struggle to separate employees.
He added: "I don't think the recent outbreaks have been a Swindon problem, I just think it's businesses who have people working in close proximity to each other. If they don't have the guidelines in place, it's going to happen."
