Weapons were drawn when two groups clashed at Buckhurst Field skate park last month.

Two groups of people, approximately 10 in total, came together at the park at 6.15pm on July 16.

During the clash, police believe weapons were used as the two groups made threats towards each other.

A number of those involved left the scene via Burghley Close in a dark blue car.

CCTV images have been released of people who the police wish to speak to.

PC Jamie Brown said: “This was a serious incident during which we believe a number of weapons may have been used.

"It also happened at a time when there were a number of children playing in the park who would no doubt have felt extremely frightened.

“We have been conducting extensive enquiries following the initial report and as part of these, we’ve obtained some CCTV images.

"Although we fully appreciate these images are not very clear, we hope that somebody may recognise some of the clothing worn.

“We would urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
