A yellow weather warning is still in place for thunderstorms – although Swindon isn’t forecast to get storms today.
The Met Office has declared a weather warning for all Britain, as the country experiences high temperatures and muggy conditions.
Forecasters say Swindon will experience sunny spells through Tuesday. Temperatures could hit 31C and there is a 30 per cent chance of rain at around 4pm.
It could get even hotter on Wednesday, with the Met Office predicting highs of 32C.
