A disabled man in a wheelchair and his wife were racially abused and spat at in the town centre.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on September 18 in the underpass adjacent to The Parade, while the two victims were travelling in the direction of the bus stops on Fleming Way.
The woman was described as white, medium-length brown hair, in her mid-50s. She was wearing as long, dark orange jumper that had a hole in the side and carrying a bright blue rucksack.
She was also wearing a fabric camouflage gardening hat and had a young dog, possibly an Alsatian with her.
PC Kiah Vaughan said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in this area of town during the early evening of Friday, September 18, who may have witnessed this incident or recognise the woman pictured.
“This is an unprovoked attack which has led to the victims feeling extremely anxious and vulnerable.”
Anyone with information should call Wiltshire Police on 101.
