Air Balloon Roundabout
The A417 is closed in both directions following a car fire between A436 (Air Balloon Roundabout) and A417 (Cowley / Brimpsfield Roundabout).
The car fire has reportedly spread to the undergrowth.
Congestion to routes through Elkstone and Cocklesford.
*8.01am update*
The A417 is now partially blocked.
The road was closed for around an hour, partially reopening just before 8am.
Traffic is moving slowly but the car will need to be recovered before the road can fully reopen.
*10am update*
The crash on the A419 has now been cleared and traffic has eased.
