Trains will be delayed until around 9am after a person was struck by a train in Gloucestershire.
Great Western Railway said lines had been closed after a person was hit by a train between Stonehouse and Stroud earlier this morning.
The lines have since reopened, but delays are expected on the line between Gloucestershire and London until 9am.
GWR said: "During this disruption if you wish to use local buses as an alternative means of transport and the local bus is not accepting Great Western Railway tickets please keep the bus ticket and send it, together with your rail ticket, to us for a refund."
Cross Country will be taking passengers from Bristol Temple Meads and Worcestershire Parkway. Rail passengers can use buses between Gloucester and Stroud.
