A driver was seen driving into a 30mph zone at more than three times the speed limit, police said.

The car had earlier been clocked at 105mph on a 60mph road near Larkhill on Monday evening.

An officer following in an unmarked police car put on his blue lights as the driver hit the 30mph zone in the army village near Stonehenge at 98mph.

Wiltshire Specialist Operations’ department, which includes the roads policing unit, posted about the incident on Twitter. They said the driver had been reported to court for speeding.
