FOUR employees at Swindon’s Aldi Distribution Centre have tested positive for coronavirus.
They were all sent home along with 11 other members of staff to self-isolate.
The cases were confirmed in the past two weeks at the warehouse in South Marston.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “Of the nearly 600 colleagues at our Swindon distribution centre, four have tested positive for Covid-19 and are currently self-isolating as per the government guidelines.
“A further eleven colleagues are self-isolating as a precaution.
“The entire site has been thoroughly cleaned and we have measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety including multiple antibacterial cleaning stations, strict social distancing policies and weekly hygiene and safety audits.”
