A CIRENCESTER man has been fined over £600 after he was convicted of driving without insurance and without a valid licence.
Ryan Hunt, 25, of Akeman Road, was caught on April 9 at Spratsgate Lane, Cirencester, without insurance, a test certificate or licence for his Vauxhall Van authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class.
Hunt was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge and £90 costs, totalling £816, when his case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 20.
He was not present but the case was proved under the single justice procedure.
Six penalty points were also added to his driving licence.
