These pictures show the damage done by a burst main in a Haydon Wick cul-de-sac this morning.
Water from the main sprayed gravel into the air. The column of water was taller than the terrace of two-storey houses just yards away.

Thames Water engineers remain at the scene along with firefighters from Swindon and Stratton fire stations. Thames Avenue has been reopened.
