SEVEN calls were made to the motorway police as concerned motorists reported a lorry driver this morning.
The North West Motorway Police tweeted that the vehicle had been spotted weaving all over the carriageway before ending up in a grass verge.
The lorry driver was arrested having produced a positive drug test for cocaine.
It is not known which motorway the lorry was driving on at present.
A spokesman said: “We'd like to say a huge thank you to the seven callers this morning that spotted this vehicle weaving all over the carriageway before finally landing here.
“The driver was arrested having provided a positive drugs wipe - Cocaine. Thankfully, no other person was involved or injured.”
