M65 near Blackburn closed in both directions as emergency services deal with incident

TRAFFIC has been stopped in both direction as emergency services deal with an incident on the M65.
The fire service and road police are currently at the scene.
Traffic has been stopped in both directions between junction 4 for Blackburn south and junction 3 for Blackburn west due to some kind of fire on the westbound carriageway.
A highways spokesman said: “The M65 westbound #4 / Blackburn with Darwen Services (#BlackburnSouth #Bolton #Darwen #A666) to #J3 (#RileyGreen #BlackburnWest) traffic has been temporarily STOPPED both carriageways due to a fire.”
